Description

“Genmai” means natural rice. This Genmaicha Bio comes from Kagoshima Prefecture around the Karishima region of Japan and is made from Bancha tea, and a 50% puffed and grilled rice grains. The incomparable taste is characterized by the sweetness of Bancha tea which thanks to the rice obtains a pleasant and slight nutty taste with cereal notes. As it is low in theine this tea can be consumed all day long.

In addition, green tea beginners can make their first positive experience in the world of Japanese teas. In Japan it is preferred especially in the afternoon.   The demand for organic teas is constantly increasing and so we decided to offer this wonderful quality. Genmaila is often brewed in large bowls in Japan, and floating swollen rice is consumed as a small snack to accompany tea. Puffed rice is called Flower Bud.
